Our Commitment

Lisner is built on the belief that your inner world is sacred. We follow a "Local-First" architecture, meaning we prioritize keeping your data on your device, under your control.

Data We Collect

• Thought Data: Your voice recordings and transcripts. By default, these stay exclusively on your device. If you opt-in to "Encrypted Sync," they are end-to-end encrypted before leaving your device. We cannot read them.
• Account Info: Your email address is used for authentication via Firebase/Google.
• Usage Data: We collect minimal, anonymized crash reports and performance metrics (e.g., app load times) to improve the experience.

How We Share Data

We never sell your data. We only share data in these cases:

• Service Providers: We use Google Cloud (Firebase) for sync/storage (if enabled). They do not have access to your encrypted thoughts.
• Explicit Consent: In the future, if you choose to share your data with third parties, we will ask for explicit, granular consent.

Your Rights

You can delete any thought or your entire account at any time. Since many of our features are local-first, deleting them on your device removes them permanently.
